Just came across this article on weight loss… No it’s not about working out in the gym or punishing your self with some strict diet... on the contrary such things were not even mentioned in that article. Well the article actually stated that eating with chopsticks helps u lose weight. :) Hmm… yup it was kind of shocking to me also :)
According to Kimiko Barber, the author of 'In The Chopsticks Diet', "Eating with chopsticks slows you down, and so you eat less." also eating with chopsticks means taking smaller mouthfuls, which tend to get chewed better, slowing down the meal, and making it easier to digest. Another logical point is that, most of the delicious sauce that we use in our meal (usually made of butter and oil) is left in the plate if chopsticks used instead of spoons. :).
I am sure people who just can’t restrict their diet would love to try this method out... after all this would mean they can eat anything as long as they know to use their chopsticks well :)
Very intriguing indeed. But u and I both being foodies of the first order know we will end up saying "Damn!" and ask for a fork or if gluttony takes over then just drop the chopsticks n eat the Indian way.
