Wondering lonely in the crowd
I saw him turning around
He was a sweetheart, cute and nice
His unmanaged hair anyone would notice outright
His smile was enough to make the heart skip a beat
He could enter ur mind without a sound or peep
And he possessed the art of getting in ur system, very deep.
Oh! How I miss him when he is not around
He wants words, cannot hear the silence that does its rounds
There are things words cannot explain
And my feelings for him surely is one of them
For all those who have ears, let them hear
This guy is special, thats clear….

This is 4 william, who is my muse. William, I know I suck and to publish this I wish u luck(oh!that rhymes)

As on my bed I lay

Yogita Thakur - who is she??? Well she is mad, crazy, hopeless, sarcastic, mischievous, random, funny (sometimes) and yeah a bigger cartoon than me (did I just admit I am a cartoon??... anyways yomu – that’s for another fight) … but having said all that, she is sweet, a very good buddy and very very talented ..
But still who is she?? and why do we have to give a fuck???
Lol because unfortunately she is today’s Guest Blogger
I always knew she was a silent/anonymous writer and has a very good pen, So as she usually is – when I generally approached her to do a post for this page, she did her usual nakraas .. and then very willingly said, “I’l see… give me some time” and that was when I got scared :(
Now the Title As on my bed I lay – gives so many wrong ideas, I mean given the reputation of my blog, I know you people will expect something of the XXX types, but don’t worry its not my post today..lol .. Actually given the fact that our beautiful guest blogger keeps having 100’s of crushes on regular basis.. I too got weird ideas when I read the title, but the poem is extremely sweet and I loved it.
Thanx yaar Yogita, I am very happy that you actually did this. Proud of you
you’re the best (only sometimes) ::winks and kisses(forcefully)::

As on my bed I lay

As on my bed I lay, I think of all that I did today
Woke up late, polished off a fruit plate and then drifted aimlessly through the day.
There was a time when I could just play,
Nobody would bother, no one would say.
Life then had no worries, but now its full of queries,
What should be my career, will I get a job?
I want to break the barrier and run away from the mob.
I want to bask in the sunshine and dance in the rain,
But nothing seems to be working, neither happiness nor pain.
With all these thoughts in my mind and the future beyond sight,
I wish I might, I wish I may
Get back my childhood days silently I pray.

Well to start it off....poetry for me has alwys been rhyming words so thts wht i hv used here. All i did was type n put punctuations wherevr i felt was needed, PLZ FEEL FREE to make suggestions/comments coz m not a pro. Thanks Willy i din't know i cud ever do sumthng crazy like this...writing poems n all....damn i wasted my time in the wrong field. Ok enuf of me...hope u like it. Read away.

R@!NY D(-)Y

I have been obliged by a little cute girly today ... Janice Raquela Mendonca .. hehe yeah the name is kinda bigger than her ... after reading her very touching poems on her notes on FB, when i approached her to write me a post for this category of my blog .. i remember her say very modestly "I am not a poet" ... well i said "I know your not" and finally convinced her !!

today she did this post in less than and hour and surprised me ...

Thank you Janice once again ... I hope that the wisdom tooth does not take away your poetic touch!!

Rainy Day
-by Janice Raquela Mendonca
Friday, June 10, 2011 at 4:50pm

I fall asleep to the rain hitting the floor outside the widow

Drip drop, drip drop

The sadness of the sky , the dullness of the day and memories of the past

Drip drop , drip drop

Memories of everlasting pain and tears of betrayal

Drip drop , drip drop

But without the bad times how could we appreciate the good times ?

Drip drop, drip drop

As I walk outside the rain drops on baby trees that are bound to grow and soak into flower seeds that are certain to bloom

Drip drop, drip drop

The rain drops from a tourists umbrella to the sidewalk rushing towards the sewers

Drip drop , drip drop

I used to think of rainy days as reminders of pain

Now I think of them as beautiful

Drip drop , drip drop

As the rain drains so does my hidden pain

Drip drop , drip drop

Splash

my wisdom is in my eyes and hands,
wat i see i write …

The taxiwala gyan !!

hmmm this section - well its a new tag \ category called ‘Guest Blogger’ !! So what about it ?? .. hmmm its my attempt to get non bloggers to do a post for me here !! Thus giving their talent a new platform and giving my monotonous blog a lil bit of variety !! Ok this guest blogger idea is fully mine as far as I know but I would however not claim copyrights on this one.. cz if a nut like me can think of this .. I am sure many other nuts can do so too :P .. lol ok enough of bragging

I was late for work (yeah once again) so took a cab - Maruti 800 (hey i love these Maruti 800 and santro cabs <3) -- The driver looked in his late 40's, more than normally tanned and the accent said he was a South Indain (well no offense there .. that was the best i can describe a guy {any guy for tht matter}).

We had just crossed the Metro junction, when a speeding biker ran passed us, ofcourse saved passed us as this cabby kicked his breaks as hard and quick as he could!

"yeh saale ek din aise hi marenge!!! par unko koi nahi bolta sir! sab taxi wale ki hi marte hai!" He snapped telling me how dozens of bikers get saved like this everyday.. not only cabs but every four wheeler has to deal with such reckless bikers everyday!!

"Risky hai sir .. thok dega toh public taxi wale ko blame karti hai... aur emergency mein break marega toh pichuwala apne ko thok deta hai .. aur gaali alag se" he went on as we stopped at the red light near Xavier’s college .. .

The single turned green and just before he could hit the accelerator a biker changed lanes and over took us ... now riding right in front of our bumper :) ...

"Sab chutya hai saale!" came an expected remark while I smiled... "Road ke bich mein chalayen ge! Anna two wheeler hai toh side mein chalao na .. badi gadi ko side do ... ya ek lane pakad ke chalao ... lane change karke hamari be lane ki maa-bhen karte hai" :)

I didn’t ask him his name, but the man was really upset with having to go through all this everyday... he went ahead and questioned the governments ability, saying that they should take a note of thousands of bikers dying due to accidents, he suggested we should have three small lanes left-center-right (enough to let 2 bikes pass simultaneously on each lane) and every bikers should just move on those lanes with respect to the direction they have to go ... at any cost they should not ride outside their respective lanes ... he was sure that this would minimize the accidents, as cars and bikes would move on completely different lanes without crossing paths ..

Now that’s a fantastic idea and although the idea makes a lot of sense.. I wonder how much of it can be implemented on our roads, given that most of them are narrow to hold separate lanes for bikes and cars and the rest have been dug open to build some fancy skywalks (which i think will take forever to get ready) ..

More than happy with his idea, I reached C.S.T and paid him the fare just to hear him thank me and say..

"aise jinda toh rahenge saale!!"

Random

  • Lately a couple of things happening in bollywood have caught my attention … I mean yes there still exists meaningless songs, people jumping from buildings without caring for the elevators and people blowing up cars as if they have smuggled all of them and are blowing them up to deny the investigators of any proof!!

1. After a research that was conducted lately but some people (.. I remember reading it on the mirror) females with names Muni and Sheela dying to change their names because of the embarrassment that our music directors have caused them, now its quite something to notice females having names like Saloni, Rupa, Dolly, etc feel insecure! I mean you never know when our musicians start noticing their jawani and make them badnaam !!

In the park the other day I seen a mom slap her son because he was Singing Sheela ki jawani loud enough for the entire park to hear .. soon after that he hubby runs up to her and says “Sheela marna mat.. pyar se samja na!” … lol

huh ? Cmon now!! Don’t wonder what I was doing in the park ok!!!

: Blushes & Winks:

2. Sundays are mostly boring these days for me.. I spend them lazing at home and downloading a new movie and watching it … (mostly bollywood) but you have to give me credit ok .. after watching I hate luv stories and Action reply .. I didn’t give up !! I still went on to see overrated Peepli live and Dhobi ghat! The only movie that I really liked is Guzarish! Beautiful touching script and awesome performances by everyone!! But today I seen Mirch. Don’t know if anyone has seen it or even hear about it… but What a Witty Script!! Just too good!

Personally I am very fond of twist in the tail kind of plots and this one really made my two and half hours enjoyable. The subject on adultery is very cleverly written without making it vulgar.

  • After long yesterday I sat down and seen an entire cricket match. India Vs Australia is always nice to watch.. but what was not nice is the loopholes in the Indian batting were seen even before the world cup starts. Thee reason we won was because of our spinners.. 3 of them and there is no use discussing about them because the plan is to play just 2 spinners in the actual matches and bank on our part timers :| hmmm well I am hoping that the inclusion of Sachin in this Squard does some wonders for the team and everyone hoping to see India lift the world cup on 2nd April at Wankhede.

  • After every mobile company running after the very much worthy Android OS for their devices, Nokia has tied up with Microsoft. We will see the Microsoft version of mobile OS in Nokia's next generation of smartphones. Thus Nokia after being beaten by Google and Apple smartphone technologies once again comes up with an out of the box idea. Well I am really looking forward to see how the ratio changes after this tie-up. Given that Android is based upon a modified version of the Linux kernel, it will be interesting to see if people opt for Microsoft over it (with a nokia ka bharosa and comparatively high prices) or continue to stick with Android.

  • Two beautiful melodies I downloaded today.. and cant stop listening to both of them ..
  1. Speak softly love –Andy Williams
  2. Give me your heart tonight - Shakin Stevens

I am in love with both these tracks!!

Happened to find the 1st one after I seen my bro watch a you tube video titled ‘Godfather theme!!’ Lol it had the Guns & Roses guitarist Slash play out the melody violently :) when I did a little bit of wikipedia on it I actually came to the source.

The second one is recommended by a kind someone ;) she wanted me to download it since ages.. but I was too lazy to google it down. Today when I called her, She made it a point that I download it on the spot! Thanx Lavu :)

  • Lately after the Arushi murder case where the parents are tried for the crime. A new threat is circulating in the house behind closed doors within the families..

Parents to kids: “Come home soon from your parties or then people say the parents are only culprits!”

Kids to their friends: “boss my dad is mad at me yaar! I think hes gonna kill me like that Arushi female!”

Lol well I am just kidding... But on a serious note that story is turning out to be very complicated and sad… I’ve stopped following it.

  • As Valentines Day as arrived I wonder why/how the people who where selling books and other stationary stuff outside stations are suddenly selling teddy bears who look less cute and more over decorated in pink and red. Hehehe everyone in the world seems to me knowing that girls make their guys spend on teddy bears more than anything else… well from the guys point of view I don’t think they have to think too much about what to get their valentine :) it’s the cheapest and the girls find it cute!! omg!

Luckly I don’t have anyone that I have to feel pity on those bears and buy them … but seriously if I had anyone also... I’d not express my love buying my girl a gummy bear!! :P

I don’t get time to write these days... and when I get time I don’t get ideas.. and then out of desperation I club up all my half written posts and post them under something called Ramdom :)

Wannabe

  • You have more power then the rest of the public around you
  • If you think the streets and the rest of the public property belongs to your pop without seeing the ‘invest in infrastructure’ ads, its not a crime
  • You have the right to believe that not only your money is yours… the remaining publics money is also your… just tell them they r stupid enough to come across you and fine them for any reason in the world
  • You can ride bikes without a helmet and not only double sit.. you can carry as many asses your bike can take!
  • I Seen many of them break traffic signals as if there were no signals at all. So well traveling at any time is not an issue … its your duty to give a fuck to the traffic rules
  • Local vendors an shopkeepers are gods gifts to you, so everything they sell is ofcourse yours! Moreover the even pay you weekly or monthly for running their business.
  • Public transport?? huh? Wats that? If you pay to travel in it it’s a sin.

Besides these extremely tempting luxuries … the government will not disown you! Infact it will provide you with some more facilities.

· Government quarters

· A better post will give you a vehicle too

· Pensions and other funds on retirement

· Quota and reservations for every damn fucking thing even if your totally unworthy

· Your wife and children are also eligible for the same (quota)

· Your children get admissions in schools and colleges with low percentages and guess what they study there for almost free as per some other provision made by the government for you

· Right from the ration line to everything you can want it’s a cakewalk

Why would anyone not wanna be a cop! ? :|
